We will help your village to prepare a development plan which provides each household with connections to clean water and underground sewer system, as well as paved streets for cleanliness, solar street lights for nighttime lighting and security, and appropriate education in your schools for computer literacy and hygiene. VLIF will help obtain a matching grant from the Government, and help in the planning and implementation of your village's modernization program.

You must raise from each household $1,000 (cash or kind) and from each NRI / wealthy household Rs.1.0 lac as your share of the total modernization costs.

Your Part - You raise your share of the funds. VLIF will help fill the gap between what you raise and what is needed to obtain the 75% matching grant from the Government. We will also help in the modernization of your village.

We have limited funds available, so we will serve on a first come first serve basis.
